Russian rider Vladimir Tugunov flew on « Spence Florival « with the President of UAE Show Jumping Cup, and this is the first time that he won the title in the three stars Prestige’s competition.

The championship was held in its tenth version, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and organized by the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation ( UAEERF ) at Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation ( FEI ), and with the support of Abu Dhabi Sports Council Longines, Fatima Bint Mubarak Sports academy, Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and al shiraa Stables, the International events took place over four days, which included six three-star international competitions, with a total prize money of 219,500 euros, competed by 85 riders from 16 countries around the world, accompanied by 163 horses, and an international one-star championship, and another international competition for the junior and young riders.

The competition witnessed the crowning of the winners by H.E Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation,  H.E Aref Al Awani The General Secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports council, Ahmed Al Suwaidi The Executive Director of the UAEERF, and Kim Elliott The Director General at Abu Dhabi Equestrian and Racing Club.
