Al-Khatem Area.. meeting the nature and
heritage on the golden sands

Al Khatem City is located 70 km west of Al Ain, about 80 km east of Abu Dhabi, on

the highway between Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The city of Al Khatem, which is connected by a road with the Butheeb Internation-
al Endurance Village, is known for hosting many annual heritage activities, includ-

ing camel competitions and wet dates festival. It also includes many distinctive
destinations for leisure for families, individuals, and nature lovers.

Al Khatem includes many farms, which surround the place, and has a large main

garden, which constitutes a recreational outlet for families and visitors. It also has
a group of delightful water fountains, large areas for children’s entertainment and

areas for physical health exercise and games.

On the Al Khatem Desert Road, which is one of the most important desert roads
that spread throughout Abu Dhabi, there are a group of family recreational camps

that visitors from inside and outside the country camp to enjoy the meeting of
nature with heritage on the golden sands.
