160 km to "The World Cup"

The World Endurance Championship will be held for 160 km (3 stars),

divided into 6 loops, where the distance of the first loop is 33 km, the

second 30 km, third 29 km, fourth 28, fifth 20 km, and the sixth and

final 20 k.m.

The World Cup ride is an individual and team competition; each country

entitled to participate with five riders, and the best 3 are selected to

compete for the team title, and if a country participates with less than

3 riders, it is not entitled to compete in the teams’ ranking.

The International Equestrian Federation had announced in January

2023 the preliminary list -the nominated entry list - which included 157

riders, both male and female from 38 countries with 182 horses as sev-
eral riders registered more than one horse per rider.

In February 2023, the final, and approved list – the definite entries – was

announced, which included 129, male and female riders from 37 coun-

tries, with 143 horses.
