Butheeb International Village

The world-class facilities

The late Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan established the Butheeb
International Endurance Village with the aim of protecting and caring

for the heritage sports in the Emirates, the most renowned of which is
being equestrianism and horse breeding. From amateurs, and “school

students to be future riders”, it is a step to educate and promote the
basics of the traditional heritage sports to the future generations.

The village includes a distinguished group of facilities equipped in high
standards to facilitate hosting of local and international championships,

which includes areas fields for training horses, and tracks designed in
international equestrian standards to suit all age groups in champion-
ships.

The loop is set to meet the requirement to host 40 kms rides, 80 kms,
120 kms, 160 kms and 240 kms respectively. The village is self-suffi-

cient with world class-facilities as in well-equipped veterinary clinic
with the latest equipment, horse stables, hotel with single and double
rooms furnished for a comfortable stay, and other service facilities, a

media and administration center, a mosque, a podium for award distribu-
tion, luxurious reception, and an entrance hall for VIP guests.
